The logo for the Japanese anime “Akame ga Kill!” is currently undergoing a rebranding, as part of a broader rebranding of the company. The new logo was released last month.
We hope the new logo will be more recognizable to Japanese gamers, but we also hope that the new logo will help us appeal to younger gamers who grew up with anime games and who now spend more time at home than at the video game store.
The new logo seems to be a combination of two things: the classic Japanese anime logo and the logo for the new ‘Akame ga Kill’ series, which is a video game series created by the same folks behind Naruto. The difference is that the new logo doesn’t seem to be based on any well-known anime. If it were based on any anime, it would probably be, like, Ghost in the Shell (which would be really bad).
